ILS Engineer

Join a global leader in acoustic sensor technologies for maritime applications. As part of our Integrated Logistic Support (ILS) team, you will play a key role in analyzing customer ILS requirements, planning and managing RAMS (Reliability, Availability, Maintainability, and Support), and ensuring world-class delivery documentation and work package execution.

 Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Naval or Ocean Engineering (or similar in STEM)
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in ILS or related engineering functions
  • Proven knowledge of ILS methodologies and international standards
  • Advanced English proficiency (written and spoken)
  • Eligibility for security clearance under NSM regulations (www.nsm.no)

 Preferred Qualifications

  • Academic background in Mathematics, Engineering, or related sciences
  • Hands-on experience with ILS implementation in complex projects
  • Experience in creating and managing ILS Work Packages
  • Solid understanding of RAMS and lifecycle support engineering

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze and review customer ILS requirements and support sales/tender teams
  • Perform RAMS assessments and define logistic support strategies
  • Define and manage ILS work packages (activities, competencies, delivery timeline)
  • Prepare high-quality documentation for delivery and compliance
  • Collaborate with PMs, R&D, and cross-functional teams globally
