Responsibilities:

• Hardware engineering for Kongsberg Discovery core products, including hydroacoustic sensors for ocean bed mapping and surveillance.
• Advice projects on cabling, installation, routing of top side electronics.
• Maintain and update technical documents such as procedures, electrical- and mechanical-drawings, IT- and interface-documents etc.
• Provide technical support in delivery and development projects and prepare hardware for Factory Acceptance Tests.
• Close collaboration with other departments, e.g., sales department, product department and local offices globally.

Desired Qualifications

• BSc degree in Electronics, Automation, Computer Science, or Mechatronics
• Technical background and relevant experience may compensate for lack of formal education.
• Experience from hardware engineering is beneficial.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken
